Just when I think I've caught up...

Just when I think I've caught up on everything, a million things take up all of my time in the past week. And then I have trouble sleeping again.

I will eventually get caught up with real posting again, but I did want to take a few minutes to introduce myself! I think I have some relatively new readers, and I'm also attaching my (first) name to the blog now.

So! My name is Allison, and my husband is Ryan. We both grew up in Michigan, and graduated from Michigan State University.

These are our chinchillas- The grey one on the left is Bug, and the little beige one is Tiny. We've had Bug for about 2 1/2 years, and Tiny about 2 years. We're also in the process of adopting a retired racing greyhound :)

We're both grad students in biomedical sciences, in the same program- and it was really, really intense applying to the same programs, hoping we'd both get into one in common. Fortunately, we did!

I really suck at sleeping on a normal schedule, and I tend to fall behind when I don't get enough sleep.

Hopefully I'll get caught up soon and have some new blog posts up :) I'm also planning on updating my blog roll soon, let me know if you aren't on it and think you should be! (If I comment on your blog, or talk to you on twitter, I probably want you there, I just ... forgot)
